Provide First Aid for Young Children
Purpose: This unit standard is for people who have responsibility for young children, including those who provide home-based education and care services for young children. People credited with this unit standard are able to provide first aid for young children.
For the purposes of this unit standard, "young children" are those under the compulsory schooling age of six years (Education Act 1989).
